Stacked discounts are applied sequentially, not added together. A 20% off followed by 10% off is not 30% off — it's 20% off first ($100 → $80), then 10% off the new price ($80 → $72), for an effective 28% total discount.
Discount % = (Original Price − Sale Price) / Original Price × 100. For example, if an item was $120 and is now $90: (120 − 90) / 120 × 100 = 25% discount.
