Pick a base color and generate harmonious palettes. Six color harmony types, tints, shades, and CSS variables.
The Color Palette Generator creates harmonious sets of colors based on established color theory relationships, starting from a single base color you choose. Color harmony rules determine which colors look pleasing together: complementary colors sit opposite each other on the color wheel and create high contrast, analogous colors are adjacent and produce a calm, cohesive look, triadic colors form an equilateral triangle and offer vibrant variety, split-complementary balances contrast with warmth, and tetradic or square schemes provide complex, rich palettes. Choose your base color, select the harmony type, and the tool generates the corresponding palette with HEX codes for each color. It is an essential starting point for designing UIs, illustrations, presentations, and brand identities.
Pick a base color using the color picker or by entering a HEX value, then select a harmony type from the options (complementary, analogous, triadic, etc.). The palette generates instantly with all colors displayed as swatches with their HEX codes. Click any swatch to copy its value to the clipboard.
