The short version
Tool inputs are never uploaded — everything you type into a GlintKit tool is processed by JavaScript in your own browser and discarded when you close the tab. We only hold data you deliberately give us: an account email if you sign up, and review text if you submit one.
1. Tool usage
No tool on this site transmits your input to any server. Text you count, JSON you format, passwords you generate and colors you convert exist only in your browser's memory. Some tools store small preferences (like your dark/light theme choice and favorited tools) in your browser's localStorage, which stays on your device and can be cleared from your browser settings at any time.
2. Accounts
Creating an account is optional. If you do, we store your email address and authentication credentials with Supabase, our authentication and database provider. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address from Google; we do not receive your password. Account data is used solely to operate your account (favorites sync, review attribution). You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time via the contact page.
3. Reviews
If you submit a review, we store the display name you choose, your rating, the review text and a link to your account. Approved reviews are public. You may request removal of your review at any time.
4. Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show advertising on some pages. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalised ads; you can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Users in the EEA and UK may be shown a consent message before personalised ads are served. Apart from advertising and authentication, GlintKit sets no tracking cookies of its own.
5. Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Netlify, which (like all web hosts) processes standard server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Netlify's privacy policy.
6. Children
GlintKit is a general-audience utility site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts are not intended for children.
7. Changes and contact
